Senior Social Media Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and produce engaging social media content, encompassing short-form videos, graphics, and carousels.

• Oversee the social listening initiative by managing topics and inquiries while monitoring social media platforms and online communities.

• Convert share-of-voice data into actionable insights.

• Interact daily with speech-language pathology and family communities.

• Monitor and report on voice-of-customer feedback to inform product, content, and marketing strategies.

• Gather and publish stories from customers, families, and clinicians.

• Develop KPI dashboards, analyze performance metrics, and illustrate social media’s impact on the marketing funnel.

• Leverage AI tools and analytics to boost content production and speed.

• Establish efficiency benchmarks and assess when human-generated content is most beneficial for the brand.

• Work collaboratively with marketing and production teams on campaigns and social media initiatives.

• Undertake additional responsibilities that support the social media strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in speech services or marketing.

• Proficient in content creation and design across major social media platforms.

• Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts.

• Background in managing a social media community within highly regulated sectors such as healthcare or medical devices.

• Capability to utilize social management and listening tools like Sprout Social.

• Exceptional written communication skills tailored for clinical and family audiences.

• Familiarity with assistive technology and AAC is advantageous.

• Availability to work full-time, averaging 40 hours per week.

• Competence in performing standard office duties, including desk work, keyboarding, and mouse usage.
