Senior SOC 2 Manager, CPA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee IT audit and assurance projects, including SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for Cybersecurity, HITRUST, HIPAA, and various compliance evaluations.

• Collaborate with senior team members and Partners on risk assessments, audit planning, and reporting activities.

• Lead daily engagement tasks, offering guidance, supervision, and constructive feedback to staff and seniors.

• Foster and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and the delivery of high-quality services.

• Manage the assessment of IT control design and its operational effectiveness.

• Identify and clearly articulate audit findings along with remediation recommendations for clients.

• Engage in client meetings, ensuring a positive experience throughout the engagement lifecycle.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of assurance methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.

• Ensure that all work adheres to quality control and professional standards.

• Assist in the training and mentoring of team members to facilitate skill development and career advancement.

• Provide weekly status updates to management, tracking progress and escalating issues as necessary.

• Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all undertakings.

• Stay informed about regulatory changes, industry standards, and best practices in IT audit.

• Actively raise potential engagement or client concerns with firm leadership.

• Participate in business development initiatives, including proposal support and client presentations.

• Undertake special projects assigned by the partner group as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in IT audit and assurance, preferably within a Big 4 or public accounting/advisory firm.

• Familiarity with GRC/compliance automation tools (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
