Senior Snowflake Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Matillion.

• Construct and optimize data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform.

• Create data processing frameworks and automation scripts using Python.

• Develop and manage data models, transformations, and workflows for business analytics.

• Enhance Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, and effective warehouse management.

• Integrate data from both structured and unstructured sources.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional engineering teams.

• Establish data quality, validation, monitoring, and error-handling protocols.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

• Adhere to best practices in security, governance, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Python, Matillion, and Snowflake.

• Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.

• Strong SQL skills, including expertise in query optimization.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional data modeling.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

• Experience using orchestration tools like Airflow.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and data integration techniques.

• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.

• Exposure to DBT is considered a plus.
