Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume technical leadership of our Snowflake-based data platform while strategically and technically enhancing it.

• Architect and refine scalable data infrastructures, data warehouses, and data models, prioritizing performance, stability, and long-term sustainability.

• Create, manage, and fine-tune high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Establish best practices for data quality, modeling, and architecture.

• Act as the primary contact for any technical inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience in data engineering.

• Strong practical experience with Snowflake.

• Solid understanding of contemporary data architectures, performance enhancement, and industry best practices.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Ideally familiar with tools like dbt, Apache Airflow, or Dagster, as well as cloud technologies, preferably Azure.

• Experienced in developing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data warehouses, and data lakes.

• Strong grasp of scalable data architectures.

• Exhibit self-responsibility, sound technical judgment, and the ability to share your expertise as a technical advisor.

• Proficient communication skills in German and a good command of English.
