Senior Smartsheet Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level Smartsheet solutions for PMO and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) projects.

• Architect and sustain solutions utilizing Smartsheet Control Center along with other premium Smartsheet applications.

• Collect business requirements and convert them into scalable, user-friendly workflows and solution designs.

• Create dashboards, reports, automations, Dynamic Views, Data Shuttle workflows, and WorkApps.

• Develop standardized project templates, governance frameworks, and best practices that foster organizational growth.

• Suggest enhancements for solution architecture, data organization, workflow efficiency, and platform scalability.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to continually refine PMO processes and Smartsheet functionalities.

• Document solution designs, configurations, implementation guides, and technical best practices.

• Offer strategic advice to enhance project visibility, reporting, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Smartsheet Control Center.

• Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Smartsheet solutions.

• Strong expertise in Smartsheet premium applications, including: Control Center, Dynamic View, Data Shuttle, Dashboards, Reports, Automations, and WorkApps.

• In-depth understanding of solution architecture, workflow design, governance, and scalable data organization.

• Experience in supporting enterprise PMOs, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), or large-scale business operations.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

• Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to independently recommend scalable solutions and best practices.

• Nice to Haves: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or REST APIs. Familiarity with data integrations and automation. Experience with Smartsheet DataMesh, Bridge, or Resource Management. Smartsheet certifications. Experience in designing standardized enterprise PMO frameworks and governance models.
