This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities by effectively communicating Cohesity's Data Cloud portfolio, which includes backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security management capabilities to both business and technical audiences.
• Offer specialized, customized technical support throughout the sales process, encompassing discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate on technical strategies for SLED opportunities alongside the Account Executive, contributing to deal progression and winning strategies.
• Assist customers in integrating Cohesity products into their existing production environments, addressing technical inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Lead and facilitate technical engagements, including product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer needs and potential risk areas, helping to design proofs of concept that showcase Cohesity's strengths in cyber resilience and data security.
• Support competitive displacement discussions by understanding customer environments and effectively positioning Cohesity solutions.
• Work collaboratively across functions with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to communicate customer feedback and aid in product enhancements.
• Provide post-sales technical support or project assistance as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting focused on infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms within enterprise settings.
• Hands-on expertise in backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of data security principles, including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access control measures.
• Familiarity with competing technologies and a keen interest in developing skills for competitive positioning.
• Experience in supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and the technical decision-making process.
• Ability to transform technical architecture into clear customer value and tangible business outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to boost productivity, streamline processes, and facilitate decision-making.
• Understanding of enterprise purchasing processes and deal dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both business and technical audiences effectively.
• A collaborative approach with the capacity to handle complex customer situations with professionalism and confidence.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Industry certifications in cloud, data, or related technologies are a plus.
• Must possess proficiency in the English language (capable of fluent interaction in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional context).
