Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Night Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deploy, manage, and ensure the security of Ivanti’s production SaaS environments within AWS and Azure.

• Collaborate with geographically diverse, cross-departmental teams to address complex challenges.

• Automate routine and repetitive tasks.

• Create documentation and training materials.

• Provide training to fellow colleagues.

• Participate in on-call rotations for 24x7 coverage utilizing a follow-the-sun model for incident response, issue triage, and problem resolution.

• Work four 10-hour shifts from Saturday night to Wednesday morning, approximately 10 PM to 9 AM U.S. Pacific Time, including a lunch break.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and reside domestically in the United States.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 3 years of relevant industry experience (2+ years with an attained Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification).

• Proficient in Python, with experience in Java, Golang, or C#.

• Skilled in programmatically working with Bash or PowerShell.

• Familiar with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.

• Experienced in troubleshooting Java and .NET applications.

• Capable of diagnosing network and storage infrastructure issues.

• Proficient in working with core Linux distributions: Debian, RHEL, SUSE, or Slackware.

• Experienced in working with Windows.

• Familiar with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.

• Ability to configure and optimize HA Proxy, Apache, Nginx, IIS, or comparable systems.

• Skilled in configuring monitoring tools such as New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, or similar.

• Familiar with container orchestration technologies, preferably AWS EKS or Azure AKS.

• Experienced with deployment pipeline tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and/or GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in working with and developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Eager to adopt and implement emerging technologies and best practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective global collaboration.
