Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Linux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with our support, operations, and engineering teams to analyze and resolve complex issues.

• Design and implement processes, plans, and infrastructure for the safe and efficient deployment of new software components and updates at scale.

• Participate in on-call rotations, providing guidance for the restoration and repair of service-affecting incidents.

• Enhance our system monitoring and analysis platform to expedite error detection and remediation, thereby improving performance and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Expert-level experience in a Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering role, specifically with large-scale distributed systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot various systemic issues and create large-scale automation solutions.

• Proficiency in Python or Golang, with practical experience using SaltStack, Ansible, and Terraform for infrastructure automation.

• Extensive knowledge of observability or monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, and Splunk.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, or an equivalent alternative.
