Security Engineer, DevSecOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain infrastructure, including bespoke software and vendor integrations, to fulfill the Security requirements of the Engineering team (Product Security and Infrastructure Security).

• Create and deploy secure, automated self-service workflows for accessing cloud infrastructure and privilege escalation (AWS/GCP).

• Oversee security infrastructure and SIEM configurations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to maintain a highly auditable detection environment. Construct and manage high-volume security data pipelines to ensure efficient and cost-effective retention of forensic logs.

• Assist in the design, revamp, and enhancement of custom vulnerability aggregation systems to streamline remediation processes. Manage and fine-tune Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and container security platforms to guarantee optimal coverage and minimize alert fatigue.

• Integrate and oversee Software Supply Chain Security tools to safeguard our developer ecosystem. Collaborate with Engineering to expand our threat modeling program, including the development of automated and AI-driven threat modeling pipelines directly embedded into the developer workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus or background in security engineering.

• Proficient in writing Golang or Python (beyond simple scripting).

• Familiarity with either AWS or GCP.

• Experience with Terraform.

• Knowledge of GitHub Actions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
