Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Data & Automation Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain a scalable and dependable data platform.

• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to data pipelines and services.

• Establish data architecture, models, and standards.

• Guarantee high availability and performance of data systems.

• Construct and manage ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate various data sources.

• Automate operational processes utilizing scripting and APIs.

• Implement monitoring and alert systems for data pipelines.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Support and enhance cloud-based data infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in SRE, Data Engineering, or DevOps positions.

• Proficient programming/scripting abilities in Python, SQL, and Bash.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Extensive experience in data modeling and pipeline development.

• Proven experience in implementing monitoring and observability systems.

• Background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.).

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
