Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design and Execute Observability Solutions: Create extensive monitoring and alerting systems utilizing contemporary observability tools.

• Propel Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Architect and deploy infrastructure automation solutions with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.

• Set SLOs and SLIs: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).

• Incident Management and Response: Oversee incident response initiatives, perform detailed post-mortems, and implement enhancements to avert future incidents.

• Performance Enhancement: Detect and rectify performance bottlenecks within our infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or comparable roles (DevOps, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering)

• Proficient programming capabilities in languages typically used for automation (Python, Go, or similar)

• Profound understanding of distributed systems

• Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and cloud-native technologies

• Demonstrated success in implementing and maintaining monitoring/observability solutions

• Strong incident management abilities with experience in leading incident responses

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools
