Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• This position is centered around operations. You will engage daily with AWS, our infrastructure-as-code, our CI/CD framework, observability, and participate in the on-call rotation.

• A significant aspect of the role involves automation: when repetitive tasks are identified, we prioritize developing tools over creating additional runbooks.

• The majority of our tooling is developed using Go.

• To provide insight into the environment: infrastructure is managed with Terraform and Terramate, employing Atlantis to handle plan and apply processes on pull requests.

• Workloads are executed on EKS utilizing Karpenter and Fargate, deployed through ArgoCD.

• Observability is established using Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and metrics compatible with Prometheus.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of direct experience managing production systems on AWS and Kubernetes, including genuine on-call responsibilities.

• A solid understanding of AWS fundamentals such as VPC, IAM, EKS, and RDS.

• Practical experience with Terraform and a GitOps-style delivery process (ArgoCD, Atlantis, Flux, or similar).

• Proficiency in coding, with prior experience in Go or a willingness to learn (writing small services and tools is a regular component of the role).

• Excellent written and verbal English skills, along with the ability to facilitate design discussions across engineering, product, and security teams.
