Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable and dependable cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS.

• Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure.

• Oversee and manage containerized applications through Kubernetes.

• Establish and uphold messaging systems with Kafka for real-time data processing.

• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively detecting and addressing issues.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the delivery of resilient and scalable applications.

• Create and sustain documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures.

• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Advanced proficiency in English (C2) with the capability to communicate in an international context.

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or in a comparable position.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and site reliability engineering principles.

• Proficient with AWS services and architecture.

• Experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.

• Expertise in container orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes (K8s).

• Familiarity with messaging systems, especially Kafka.

• Experience with relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to collaborate in remote, multicultural settings.
