Senior Site Reliability Engineer, 100% remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Shared responsibility for system availability: You will play an active role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our intricate system architecture.

• Maintenance and automation: You will assist in maintaining and automating our current infrastructure.

• Monitoring and analysis: You will enhance our monitoring strategies and carry out thorough incident and root-cause analyses.

• High availability: In exceptional circumstances, you should be prepared to be available at night to guarantee the smooth operation of our systems.

• Software development: A solid background in one or more programming languages is essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Rust, Java, Go, TypeScript) is essential.

• A strong grasp of system automation and IT security is necessary.

• Practical experience with some of the following systems: MySQL, TiDB, Kubernetes, MinIO, and Elasticsearch.

• Business-fluent German and good English language skills are required.

• Exceptional analytical skills paired with outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Experience with contributions to open-source technologies is preferred.
