This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Establishing and nurturing robust, long-term relationships with key investigator sites, serving as their primary point of contact at ICON.
• Assisting sites across various studies by enhancing communication, addressing operational challenges, and escalating issues when necessary.
• Working in collaboration with clinical operations, feasibility, and project teams to ensure site capabilities align with study opportunities.
• Collecting and sharing feedback and insights from sites to inform protocol design, feasibility assumptions, and process enhancements.
• Tracking performance metrics for partnered sites, including start-up timelines, recruitment, and quality, while implementing improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to strategies, tools, and best practices for site engagement to improve the overall site experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience in clinical research.
• At least 4 years of experience in Site Start-Up (SSU) within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical setting.
• Significant experience in clinical research with extensive exposure to site management, partnerships, or site-facing roles.
• Exceptional skills in relationship-building and stakeholder management, earning credibility among investigators and site staff.
• A solid understanding of clinical trial operations, site processes, and crucial factors affecting recruitment and quality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities, complemented by a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Ability to handle multiple sites and studies within a matrixed environment while ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
