This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborating with the Senior Management Team and Project Manager to plan on-site project activities, including necessary resources, equipment, and milestones.
• Facilitating agreements between customers and external resources regarding construction objectives, health and safety protocols, site organization, and policies.
• Overseeing the site from the moment the assigned area is received from the customer until it is returned upon project completion.
• This responsibility encompasses coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the effective execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning tasks, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
• Acting as the project representative at the site.
• Developing and sustaining strong relationships with customers and other local stakeholders.
• Ensuring the proper handling, storage, and installation of equipment and materials to prevent damage.
• Promptly informing project logistics when goods are delivered to the site.
• Ensuring that comprehensive and current risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are available for each work package, in alignment with the project’s health and safety plan.
• Verifying that all on-site personnel are adequately trained and actively promoting health and safety awareness among project partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing project costs related to site work, monitoring actual expenditures against forecasts, and estimating final costs.
• Ensuring all documentation is revised and updated as needed, maintaining the document handling system, and using the latest revisions for construction activities on-site.
• Overseeing subcontractors on-site to guarantee that the required quality and progress are achieved to meet delivery deadlines and agreed-upon standards.
• Regularly reporting to the Project Manager regarding site activities, health, safety, environment (HSE), quality, progress, and costs.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Site Manager in the construction and/or installation sector.
• Strong understanding of transmission regulations and current health, safety, and environmental (HSE) legislation.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and adaptable personality.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and proficient communication skills in English.
