Senior Site Contract Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Prepare, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize agreements with study sites.

• Negotiate parameters for investigator grant budgets, along with contractual terms and conditions.

• Ensure adherence to established negotiation guidelines, authority approvals, and client expectations.

• Identify and evaluate legal, financial, and operational risks.

• Offer recommendations and alternative solutions for Investigator Contracts negotiations.

• Collaborate with internal functional departments to align various site startup activities with contractual obligations.

• Meet target cycle times for site activations.

• Complete necessary tracking and reporting as required.

• May provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

• Engage in country process improvement initiatives.

• Act as the country subject matter expert in the review of Investigator Contracts training materials.

• Coordinate with Global Site Contracts to ensure adherence to established global processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Prior experience that equips you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (approximately 5+ years).

• Comprehensive understanding of the principles of contract law.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and the local language.

• In-depth understanding and proven ability to successfully negotiate investigator grant budgets.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.

• Solid knowledge and comprehension of the pharmaceutical product development process and the role of CROs.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Familiarity with PPD SOP & WPDs.

• Strong problem-solving abilities demonstrated through effective risk analysis resulting in appropriate resolutions or escalations.
