Loan Officer Assistant, Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Act as the main operational support for a successful Loan Originator.

• Complete loan applications and oversee files from initial disclosure to closing.

• Evaluate borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, guidelines) for accuracy and completeness.

• Structure and package loans across Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM programs.

• Directly communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, processors, underwriters, and title companies.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and investor guidelines.

• Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may impede approval or closing.

• Maintain pipeline reports and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.

• Provide an exceptional borrower experience that fosters referral-based growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid NMLS license (Texas required).

• At least 3 years of experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or Loan Officer.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loan products.

• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and loan structuring.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with accuracy and urgency.

• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

• High degree of professionalism, accountability, and discretion.
