Senior Shopify Project, Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee up to 7 simultaneous Shopify and eCommerce projects, which include:

• Development of Shopify platforms

• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) retainers

• Ongoing support agreements

• Ensure project timelines, budgets, documentation, and quality of delivery are maintained

• Manage Asana boards, project timelines, risk logs, and change requests

• Facilitate collaboration among development, design, SEO, and email teams

• Ensure projects adhere to established scope and performance standards

• Act as the main point of contact for designated clients

• Deliver proactive communication and updates through Loom, email, and meetings

• Conduct regular review calls and roadmap discussions

• Cultivate long-term client relationships built on trust, transparency, and growth

• Identify opportunities for upselling and retainers when suitable

• Lead weekly delivery meetings and project evaluations

• Distribute tasks among designers and developers

• Perform Quality Assurance reviews and uphold agency standards

• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on processes

• Appropriately escalate risks or obstacles to leadership

• Assist in refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and internal documentation

• Contribute ideas for enhancing operational efficiency and process optimization

• Support retrospective reviews and initiatives for continuous improvement

• Maintain well-organized project records and reporting frameworks

• Assess project modifications and assist in budget management

• Ensure projects align with business objectives and profitability goals

• Provide assistance with quoting, scoping, and proposal preparation as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in:

• Project Management

• Account Management

• Digital Agency Operations

• Shopify or eCommerce settings

• Strong grasp of Shopify ecosystems and website delivery processes

• Proven experience managing multiple client projects at once

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Proficient in using project management tools such as Asana

• Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills

• Capability to work independently in a fully remote setting

• Experience collaborating with CRO, SEO, and email marketing teams (Preferred)

• Familiarity with Shopify design and development processes (Preferred)

• Experience managing distributed or international teams (Preferred)

• Understanding of agile delivery methods (Preferred)

• Strong Quality Assurance and process management mindset (Preferred)
