Senior Shopify E-commerce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance our Shopify store in accordance with industry best practices.

• Create custom features, landing pages, and reusable components.

• Consistently enhance the customer experience from the homepage through to checkout.

• Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.

• Implement APIs, webhooks, Google Tag Manager, and GA4 tracking.

• Enhance merchandising, upselling, cross-selling, and conversion opportunities.

• Actively identify UX and CRO enhancements leveraging your Shopify e-commerce expertise.

• Investigate AI tools, AI agents, and automation to boost operational efficiency.

• Document technical tasks and uphold organized development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of extensive experience in developing and optimizing Shopify e-commerce stores.

• Proficient knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Shopify Online Store 2.0, Shopify Functions, Metafields, and Metaobjects.

• Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.

• Solid understanding of UX, CRO, and Shopify e-commerce best practices.

• Proficient in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.

• Excellent communication abilities and remarkable attention to detail.

• A commercial perspective that recognizes the rationale behind building features, beyond just the technical execution.

• Proven capability in creating fast, intuitive, responsive websites optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
