This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Maintain, support, and enhance SharePoint portals, Moodle, and Open Journal Systems (OJS).
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents, errors, and failures in production environments.
• Execute small-scale corrective, adaptive, and evolutionary maintenance tasks.
• Develop, customize, and uphold Web Parts, pages, layouts, themes, templates, plugins, and components.
• Create and sustain integrations between portals and corporate systems.
• Implement improvements to interfaces, navigation, menus, forms, and content.
• Install, configure, and upgrade platform versions, plugins, and components.
• Analyze and address permission, authentication, publishing, and access issues.
• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of development, testing/acceptance, and production environments.
• Prepare deployment scripts, packages, and procedures.
• Conduct tests and support validation and deployment processes.
• Evaluate technical impacts and risks associated with changes.
• Provide assistance to users and business areas in analysis and problem resolution.
• Create and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Log and track requests using management tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, architecture, and security teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology; or any degree supplemented by a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology with a minimum of 360 hours.
• Proven experience in the development, maintenance, and support of portals or CMS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Moodle, or Open Journal Systems (OJS).
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Experience in developing and customizing Web Parts, pages, layouts, themes, templates, plugins, and components.
• Understanding of integrations between portals and corporate systems.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of application testing, acceptance, and deployment processes.
• Experience in analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving production incidents.
• Awareness of security, accessibility, responsiveness, and best practices for portal performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, autonomy, proactivity, analytical abilities, and teamwork skills.
• Must possess at least one mandatory certification: SCJP or equivalent; Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer or equivalent; or Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer or equivalent.
• Desirable knowledge includes SharePoint Online/Server, SPFx, TypeScript, React, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, Power Apps, Power Automate, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache, Linux, Active Directory, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, DevOps, DevSecOps, monitoring, log analysis, and code quality.
