This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco, +1 more country.
• Take complete ownership of the SharePoint pilot project.
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to construct and launch a modern SharePoint communication site homepage.
• Implement page layouts, navigation, theming, native SharePoint web parts, and custom components.
• Evaluate requirements and prefer out-of-the-box SharePoint functionalities where suitable.
• Develop reusable components, patterns, and structures for future deployments.
• Maintain a functional replica of the intended site structure within Infomineo's Microsoft 365 tenant using synthetic content.
• Design solutions for deployment across a tenant boundary without direct access to client production.
• Create and manage PnP provisioning templates, SPFx .sppkg packages, site scripts, theme JSON, configuration files, and design assets.
• Identify tenant-specific dependencies and document the configurable deployment requirements.
• Develop deployment runbooks that include validation, troubleshooting, and rollback procedures.
• Support client deployments without directly accessing or altering the production environment.
• Create production-quality SPFx web parts and extensions utilizing React and TypeScript.
• Oversee SPFx development processes, including build, bundling, packaging, testing, and deployment preparation.
• Utilize PnP PowerShell, provisioning templates, PnPjs, and related tools to automate SharePoint configurations.
• Configure site designs, site scripts, hub sites, navigation, page layouts, themes, and native web parts.
• Leverage Microsoft Graph when native SharePoint functionalities are inadequate.
• Transform visual designs into accurate, responsive, accessible SharePoint pages.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards while optimizing page performance.
• Conduct paired deployment sessions and instruct the client maintainer on operating, configuring, and maintaining the solution.
• Identify technical risks, contribute to rollout planning and estimation, and keep the pilot budget and timeline in focus.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience with SharePoint, including a minimum of 3 years with SharePoint Online and modern SharePoint experiences.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering SharePoint intranets, communication sites, or modern digital workplace solutions.
• A portfolio showcasing delivered SharePoint intranet or communication-site projects that you can present and discuss.
• Previous experience in consulting or contract delivery is preferred.
• Experience in security-constrained, regulated, or otherwise restricted client environments is highly desirable.
• Experience as the primary or sole SharePoint specialist on a project is highly valued.
• Professional command of English; proficiency in French or another relevant client language is a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern SharePoint Online features.
• Comprehensive understanding of communication sites, team sites, hub sites, site designs, site scripts, navigation, themes, page layouts, lists, libraries, and native web parts.
• Proven production experience in developing SPFx web parts and extensions.
• Strong practical experience with React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with the full SPFx build, bundle, package, and deployment workflow.
• Solid foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Practical insight into accessibility and experience in delivering WCAG 2.1 AA-compliant interfaces.
• Strong hands-on experience with PnP PowerShell.
• Experience in creating repeatable and maintainable provisioning processes.
• Understanding of Graph API permissions, delegated/application permissions, and tenant administrator consent.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and authentication concepts is expected.
• Good understanding of the SharePoint App Catalog and SPFx approval process.
• Awareness of what requires tenant administrator approval before custom code or integrations can be executed.
• Familiarity with SharePoint permissions, application permissions, API scopes, and tenant-level configuration.
• Experience in preparing deployment packages and technical documentation for administrators.
• Working knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Ability to recognize when Power Platform offers a simpler or more cost-effective solution than custom SPFx development.
• Understanding of SharePoint integration with Power Platform and related deployment considerations.
• Comfortable assuming full ownership as the sole SharePoint specialist on an engagement.
• Capable of working independently without direct access to the client's production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities, including diagnosing issues from screenshots, logs, configuration details, and user feedback.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and practical deployment documentation.
• Capable of teaching and enabling a client maintainer without assuming prior coding or SharePoint knowledge.
• Pragmatic approach, able to differentiate between genuine technical requirements and unnecessary customization.
• Proactive in identifying dependencies, risks, and decisions that could impact delivery.
• Genuine ownership: One specialist, one client, clear deliverables. There are no intermediaries between you and the work.
• An engaging challenge: Delivering into a tenant you cannot access poses a real engineering problem. Getting the handover model right constitutes a significant portion of the value we provide.
