Senior ServiceNow Developer – ITSM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions to fulfill federal program needs.

• Create and manage custom applications, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.

• Enhance and develop ServiceNow ITSM capabilities.

• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow portals alongside web-based user experiences.

• Collaborate with ServiceNow Architects to implement scalable, standards-compliant solutions.

• Engage in Agile and SAFe ceremonies.

• Conduct code reviews and guarantee compliance with development standards.

• Assist with platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.

• Diagnose and resolve ServiceNow defects and production issues.

• Ensure that configurations and customizations are in line with federal standards and best practices.

• Contribute to technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

• Support and enhance ITSM knowledge enablement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical ServiceNow development experience.

• Extensive experience in creating custom ServiceNow applications.

• Direct experience with ServiceNow portal development (Service Portal and/or UI Builder).

• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).

• Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• ServiceNow CSA and CAD or CIS certification.

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS): CIS – IT Service Management (ITSM).

• Strong background in Service Portal, UI Builder, and user experience design.

• Experience in configuring ITSM modules.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow data model and performance optimization techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
