Senior ServiceNow Developer – ITOM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions to fulfill federal program requirements.

• Create and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.

• Enhance and develop ServiceNow ITOM capabilities.

• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow portals and web-based user experiences, such as Service Portal and/or UI Builder.

• Collaborate with ServiceNow Architects to deliver scalable, standards-compliant solutions.

• Engage in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

• Assist with platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.

• Diagnose and resolve ServiceNow defects and production issues.

• Ensure that configurations and customizations meet federal security and compliance standards.

• Contribute to technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

• Support and improve ITOM knowledge enablement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical ServiceNow development experience.

• Strong background in developing custom ServiceNow applications and configuring the platform.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow portal development (Service Portal and/or UI Builder).

• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).

• Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks.

• Bachelor's degree.

• ServiceNow CSA and CAD or CIS certification.
