Senior ServiceNow Developer – ITAM

📋 Description

• iTech AG is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to assist a federal program by designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions in a secure, scalable, and compliant framework.

• This position acts as a senior technical contributor responsible for creating high-quality platform functionalities, developing user-facing portals, and supporting core ServiceNow capabilities that align with mission and business requirements.

• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions to meet federal program specifications.

• Create and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.

• Enhance and develop ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) functionality.

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow portals and web-based user experiences, including Service Portal and/or UI Builder.

• Collaborate with ServiceNow Architects to implement solutions that are scalable and based on established standards.

• Engage in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

• Assist with platform upgrades, patch management, and performance optimization.

• Diagnose and resolve ServiceNow defects and production-related issues.

• Ensure that configurations and customizations comply with federal security and regulatory requirements.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

• Support and enhance ITAM knowledge enablement.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of direct ServiceNow development experience.

• Extensive experience in developing custom ServiceNow applications and platform configurations.

• Practical experience with ServiceNow portal development (Service Portal and/or UI Builder).

• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).

• Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks.

• Bachelor's degree.

• ServiceNow CSA and CAD or CIS certification.

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS): CIS – IT Asset Management (ITAM).

• Experience in supporting federal government projects.

• Strong expertise in Service Portal, UI Builder, and user experience design.

• Experience configuring the ITAM module.

• Familiarity with the ServiceNow data model and performance optimization techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Experience supporting Agile teams aligned with DevSecOps.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
