Senior ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with users to ascertain existing operational procedures and clarify project goals.

• Contribute to the strategic and operational planning of Enterprise business solutions.

• Create testable code and develop testing protocols or plans; assess revisions and outcomes.

• Design and build high-volume, low-latency applications for critical mission systems.

• Deliver applications that are highly available and perform at peak efficiency.

• Establish and execute processes for precise and effective workflow distribution.

• Create applications based on requirements and business solutions, ensuring deliverables meet enterprise standards.

• Utilize programming skills throughout analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.

• Offer technical expertise for subsystems and performance-oriented systems.

• Employ application design principles to develop logical and physical designs that enhance efficiency and promote code reuse.

• Develop, document, teach, and clearly communicate moderately complex business requirements for ServiceNow enterprise solutions.

• Maintain and enhance ServiceNow business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Flow Designer flows, ACLs, and API integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; alternatively, an Associate's degree or 72 hours toward a relevant technical bachelor's degree coupled with three years of pertinent experience may be accepted.

• At least five years of direct experience supporting source systems and project teams with moderately complex business requirements.

• Proficient knowledge and experience with data collection, program logic development, coding, testing, and documentation.

• Background in Application Systems Programming Design and Analysis.

• Experience as a Programming Lead on a minimum of one large-scale project.

• Preferred experience/certification in ServiceNow platform development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ServiceNow scripting).

• Experience in ServiceNow administration/development.

• Familiarity with ITSM, SPM, and ITOM/CMDB.

• Experience with IntegrationHub, UI Policies, UI Actions, UI Builder, Playbooks, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, Flows, and ACLs.

• Knowledge of Ab Initio, Apache Kafka, API Development, Bash, GitHub, IBM InfoSphere DataStage, IBM InfoSphere MDM, IBM RAD, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Linux, MDM, RHEL, SQL, Unix operating systems, and the Waterfall Model.

• Must ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information.
