Senior ServiceNow Dev Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development and implementation of ServiceNow ITAM/SAM initiatives, ensuring they meet client specifications.

• Design, create, and configure Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions, including software normalization, reconciliation, and compliance tracking.

• Implement and tailor ITAM modules that encompass hardware asset management (HAM) and software asset lifecycle processes.

• Develop and improve workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and Flow Designer solutions tailored to ITAM processes.

• Establish and execute software license management models (subscription, perpetual, SaaS, and cloud licensing).

• Lead the integration of ServiceNow with discovery tools, procurement systems, Active Directory, and software vendors.

• Configure and manage the software catalog, entitlements, contracts, and license metrics.

• Propel automation efforts for software compliance, reclamation, and optimization.

• Serve as a Development Lead, mentoring team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Conduct code reviews, design validation, and uphold development best practices.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert SAM requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Assist in audit readiness, compliance reporting, and vendor true-up processes.

• Create dashboards and reports for license usage, compliance status, and cost savings.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to SAM and ITAM implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• Approximately 6–10 years of IT experience, with extensive expertise in ServiceNow ITAM/SAM.

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Developer or Development Lead in ITAM/SAM implementations.

• ServiceNow CSA certification (mandatory).

• ServiceNow CIS – Software Asset Management certification (preferred/mandatory depending on role).

• ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
