Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst/Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with client representatives to identify, extract, and define both functional and technical requirements as well as use cases.

• Generate process flows, workflows, use cases, and requirements for future-state systems.

• Develop Agile stories that document epics, themes, functional needs, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Manage and prioritize user story backlogs based on customer requirements.

• Demonstrate ServiceNow and integration configurations to confirm and validate requirements.

• Assist the Scrum Master in sprint planning activities.

• Work alongside solution architects to discuss implementation specifics and release scope.

• Create test procedures, cases, and data that support user stories.

• Carry out test cases and procedures, address test defects with developers and architects, and ensure that issues are resolved.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including standups, planning sessions, grooming, and demonstrations.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts utilizing ServiceNow test management.

• Clearly articulate and demonstrate requirements and technical configurations to the Product Owner.

• Provide support for production issues and collaborate with the O&M team on resolutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer in an Agile development setting.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen to qualify for DoD Secret security clearance.

• Possess or have the ability to obtain Security+ or an equivalent certification.

• ServiceNow CSA certification is mandatory.

• Proficient in ServiceNow and REST API integrations, including requirements gathering, test development, and management.

• Experience in user story development and management within an Agile framework.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow test management, test execution, and the development of test scripts is required.

• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) is preferred.

• Background in client-facing roles with a proven ability to build rapport and trust.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
