This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Take charge of local search performance across 15 different markets.
• Oversee Google Business Profiles, local landing-page architecture, citations, review signals, and internal linking.
• Strategize, organize, and document technical SEO preparedness for the upcoming website launch in November.
• Manage crawl and index health, rendering, redirects, canonical tags, structured data, and conduct post-launch monitoring.
• Review webmaster-related tasks, highlight items requiring attention or clarification, and implement tasks in collaboration.
• Lead efforts to enhance visibility across Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot.
• Utilize citation and visibility data to pinpoint answer-engine opportunities.
• Identify content gaps and create keyword and content maps tailored to prospective-client search scenarios.
• Prioritize content development based on state, market, and practice area.
• Assess and report on SEO impact using Google Search Console, GA4, and HubSpot.
• Analyze changes based on impressions, clicks, consultations, and overall business results.
• Recognize initiatives that fail to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership from Content, Web, and Marketing teams.
• Within the first 30 days, comprehend the client-conversion funnel, audit all 15 markets, and identify the three highest-priority issues.
• From days 31 to 60, lead technical SEO preparedness, implement initial market and practice-area pages, and work together on new website pages.
• During days 61 to 90, assess AI-search visibility and present a prioritized optimization plan for answer-engine results.
• A minimum of four years of professional SEO experience, with at least two years focused on multi-location or multi-market websites.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge, including the ability to interpret crawl reports and diagnose rendering issues.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with web developers to resolve technical challenges.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Search Console and GA4.
• Capability to leverage first-party data for performance evaluation, opportunity identification, and informed recommendations.
• Experience managing the technical SEO requirements of at least one website migration from launch through post-launch monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to connect SEO initiatives to quantifiable business outcomes, such as qualified leads, consultations, conversions, or revenue.
• Experience in the legal, healthcare, or other regulated professional services industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Practical experience with AI-search visibility and answer engine optimization tools is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in implementing and validating structured data and schema markup is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Spanish-language SEO is beneficial but not essential.
• Familiarity with using HubSpot to track organic leads, consultations, and conversions is a plus but not necessary.
