Senior SEO Content Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and implement the comprehensive organic growth strategy — encompassing keyword planning, technical SEO, content creation, and digital public relations.

• Collaborate with product, compliance, design, growth, and communications teams to simplify complex topics in crypto and fintech into content that users seek and publications reference.

• Oversee technical SEO initiatives across the platform — including site structure, crawlability, page speed, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and Local SEO for the company's kiosk presence.

• Manage the SEO tools stack — including GSC, GA, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog — while providing performance reports enriched with data-driven, actionable insights.

• Create and implement a content strategy across blogs, landing pages, and educational resources — producing and refining top-notch, SEO-optimized content.

• Conduct regular content audits — updating, merging, or retiring low-performing pages to ensure a streamlined and effective content library.

• Collaborate with the Communications team on data-driven digital PR campaigns — providing original research, industry data studies, and noteworthy assets aimed at securing backlinks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of combined experience in SEO and content — preferably within fintech, cryptocurrency, or similar regulated sectors where accuracy and compliance are crucial.

• Proven history of enhancing organic traffic and improving rankings as both a strategist and an individual contributor — a portfolio showcasing published content and successful link-building campaigns is essential.

• Extensive technical SEO expertise — understanding search algorithms, site architecture, page speed, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals — with practical implementation experience, not merely theoretical knowledge.

• Exceptional writing and editing skills — capable of producing publication-quality content on intricate financial and crypto subjects while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and compliance standards.

• Practical experience in digital PR — facilitating link-building efforts through HARO, Qwoted, or similar platforms, with a proven record of obtaining coverage from reputable publications.

• Proficient in GSC, GA, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and a content management system like WordPress or Drupal.

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS — able to make minor technical adjustments independently when necessary.

• Strong analytical abilities — skilled at converting data into strategic direction and clearly communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent cross-functional teamwork capabilities — able to collaborate effectively with product, compliance, design, growth, and communications teams.

• Bonus: Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, and fintech.

• Bonus: Experience in optimizing Local SEO via Google Business Profiles on a large scale.
