Senior SEM Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct tests and analyze data to uncover insights and enhance the return on investment (ROI) of search campaigns.

• Monitor, report, and evaluate website metrics and pay-per-click (PPC) campaign initiatives.

• Manage campaign expenditures, ensure compliance with budgets, and estimate monthly costs.

• Refine ad copy and landing pages to improve search engine marketing efforts.

• Perform continuous keyword research, expansion, and optimization activities.

• Investigate and assess competitor advertising techniques.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Content, Product, and Sales.

• Guide and provide leadership to junior team members.

• In-depth knowledge of performance marketing, conversion, and customer acquisition tactics.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to create SEM reports and dashboards from intricate data.

• Methodical testing approach utilizing A/B and multivariate experimentation.

• Awareness of search marketing trends and industry best practices.

• Capability to manage budgets, reconcile expenditures, and accurately project costs.

• Efficient collaboration across Content, Product, and Sales teams.

• Ability to mentor and nurture junior team members.

• Experience in SEM and eCommerce, including successful PPC campaign management on Google and Bing.

• Background in an agency setting managing multiple clients.

• Extensive familiarity with data feeds, Google Ads Editor, and Performance Max campaigns.

• Proficient in Google Analytics, Amplitude, SEMrush, Looker, or Data Studio.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a quantitative discipline.

• Fluency in both English and Portuguese is essential.

• Google Ads certification is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Meta Ads and TikTok Ads is a plus.

• Knowledge of SEO is beneficial.

• Experience in digital companies, e-commerce, or performance marketing settings is a plus.
