This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute technical collection projects, encompassing the acquisition, monitoring, and analysis of data from deep and dark web sources.
• Design and deploy AI-driven automation systems, custom Claude Code skills, MCP servers, agent workflows, and harnesses.
• Ensure collection reliability across high-traffic internet sources.
• Address site structure modifications, authentication failures, anti-bot measures, customer-impacting collection gaps, and data quality challenges.
• Develop, implement, and manage collection services, worker processes, data pipelines, and APIs within Docker and cloud environments.
• Conduct proactive investigations into underground cybercriminal economies and the exploitation of emerging technologies.
• Utilize secure operational tradecraft methods and practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders within CrowdStrike’s global Counter Adversary Operations team.
• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python.
• Experience in developing data extraction, web scraping, and database-interaction tools.
• Background in creating AI-driven automations, custom skills, plugins, or agent harnesses that integrate LLMs with production infrastructure.
• Ability to design deterministic workflows for orchestrating data collection, detecting failures, and automating remediation.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and interacting with RESTful and other APIs.
• Familiarity with building, deploying, and maintaining Docker tools and services.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative software development practices.
• Experience applying AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and achieve business outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead data-driven investigations and present visualized results effectively.
• Capability to navigate and prepare large, unstructured datasets for analysis using statistical methods.
• Awareness of online threat landscapes, including social media, underground forums, and ransomware/DLS ecosystems.
• Understanding of research collection tradecraft and OPSEC principles.
• Capacity to work remotely in collaborative teams across different time zones.
• Strong customer service orientation and experience managing stakeholder expectations during high-pressure situations.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, data science, intelligence studies, or a related field.
• Additional language skills, experience in the intelligence community or cyber threat intelligence, engagement with the security or academic community, and open-source software development are advantageous.
