Senior Security Engineer I – Identity Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions utilizing Microsoft Entra ID.

• Create and sustain PowerShell automation for lifecycle management and access governance.

• Partner with business and application teams to establish access models and controls.

• Contribute to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Entra ID integrations, and Privileged Access Management (PAM) initiatives.

• Continuously enhance IAM processes and operational maturity.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

• Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in IAM or security engineering, OR 9 years of experience in Information Technology, including 5 years in IAM or security engineering.

• Proficient in Entra ID, Conditional Access Policies, and PowerShell automation.

• Experience with Entra IGA, SailPoint, or comparable IAM platforms.

• Background in cloud identity and access management with a solid understanding of IAM concepts such as authentication protocols (SAML 2.0), authorization models (RBAC), identity governance (IGA), access packages, privileged access management (PAM), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Capability to collaborate across different time zones to identify and resolve issues.
