Senior Security Engineer – Blue Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform security risk evaluations of third-party entities, assessing their overall maturity and mapping data flows to determine supplier security threats.

• Develop security tools and automation, aiding in the creation of internal applications and scripts.

• Carry out incident response activities by detecting, investigating, and resolving security incidents.

• Improve endpoint security by protecting organizational endpoints, emphasizing device security through EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), application control, and threat detection.

• Investigate the organization’s utilization of AWS, working alongside DevOps to identify and address security vulnerabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Security Engineer.

• Proven experience conducting security assessments on third-party vendors and applications.

• Proficient in coding (preferably Rust, but also Python and PHP).

• Familiarity with MacOS and AWS.

• Background in incident response activities.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Bonus (Highly desirable, but not mandatory):

• Expertise in database structures and crafting queries for security investigations.

• Experience in Identity and Access Management, particularly with Okta.

• Familiarity with Crowdstrike Falcon.
