Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with activities such as data discovery, classification, tagging, labeling, risk prioritization, and remediation planning.

• Collaborate with client security, DLP, SOC, and data governance teams.

• Evaluate findings identified through data security tools.

• Ensure remediation actions are completed effectively.

• Coordinate with the SOC and response teams regarding findings.

• Record remediation decisions and evidence of closure.

• Offer technical insights for the remediation roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security engineering.

• Direct, hands-on experience with remediation processes.

• Practical knowledge of Cyera and Microsoft Purview.

• Familiarity with SIEM/SOC alerting pipelines.

• Comfortable collaborating with the client's existing DLP engineer.

• Proven experience in conducting controlled validation exercises.

• Solid understanding of SharePoint/OneDrive incident patterns.

• Ability to convert technical remediation tasks into clear documentation.
