Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance and develop the product by creating investigation flows, integrating security tools, and resolving bugs.

• Advance the investigation logic and pipelines to accommodate new types of security alerts, ensuring a balance between accuracy, performance, and maintainability.

• Directly contribute to our Python codebase while shaping architectural decisions and long-term product vision.

• Review and assess investigations conducted by our AI to pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, translating these insights into product advancements.

• Collaborate with GTM and customer success teams to guide technical direction, prioritize features, and ensure that we address the most significant challenges for defenders.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers.

• Occasionally participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software development or security engineering.

• Extensive experience in writing production Python code.

• Solid background in writing detections, working on a SOAR team, being part of a Detection and Response or threat hunting team, or developing security tools or products.

• Knowledge of contemporary security best practices, investigation methodologies, and threat hunting techniques.

• An early-stage startup mindset; you excel in uncertain environments, execute with speed, and can turn ambiguity into delivered features that propel the business forward.
