Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the vulnerability management lifecycle by managing processes, tools, and remediation activities across all engineering teams.

• Streamlining workflows and procedures to minimize developer friction, reduce toil, and lessen manual overhead in daily security operations.

• Collaborating with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Engineering teams to ensure adherence to industry security standards and regulatory frameworks.

• Working closely with development and infrastructure teams to pinpoint and address critical security vulnerabilities and issues.

• Establishing robust Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices to enhance security throughout the development process.

• Addressing vulnerabilities and security weaknesses in code and infrastructure through collaboration with operations and engineering teams.

• Acting as the lead security subject matter expert during incident response activities and customer security escalations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 5 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Exhibit knowledge of industry compliance standards such as FedRAMP, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and SOC2.

• Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Demonstrate proficiency in operating and managing various security tools like Wiz, Snyk, Tenable, Black Duck, Coverity, Burp, and Trivy.

• Exhibit expertise in at least one programming language, including C, Java, Golang, Python, or JavaScript.

• Show adaptability, proactive thinking, a commitment to continuous learning, and a pursuit of technical excellence in dynamic environments.
