Senior Security Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with architects to design effective solutions.

• Lead compliance evaluations and readiness initiatives for cloud computing platforms and delivery services.

• Convert intricate regulatory standards into practical guidance for technical architecture and engineering teams.

• Assess technical architectures, control designs, and operational efficacy against recognized industry benchmarks.

• Perform risk evaluations and guide cross-functional remediation efforts among technical teams.

• Create security compliance playbooks, implementation documentation, and automated monitoring processes.

• Mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Represent the organization in external certification assessments and audits.

• Execute scalable control enhancements throughout the environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of pertinent experience.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications.

• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or NIST.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, identity management, network security, and vulnerability management.

• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication abilities.

• Familiarity with compliance automation tools, GRC platforms, and cloud service provider environments.

• Experience in coordinating audit evidence collection across multiple organizations and leading external assessment engagements.
