This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as a reliable partner to Optiv's clients.
• Utilize sales expertise and extensive security knowledge to craft security solutions tailored for designated clients.
• Concentrate mainly on Threat Exposure Management, with additional proficiency in related cybersecurity sectors.
• Propel services and technologies sales to achieve or surpass quarterly and annual quota targets alongside account teams.
• Comprehend clients' security landscapes, business processes, security requirements, and risk tolerances.
• Spot cross-selling and upselling possibilities, qualify leads, manage proposals, and track opportunities to closure.
• Clearly convey how Optiv's technology and service offerings align with client stakeholder requirements.
• Lead discussions on thought leadership, analysis, guidance, and security strategy.
• Collaborate with service delivery and internal Optiv teams to synchronize client expectations and guarantee exceptional delivery.
• Develop comprehensive security programs, including gathering requirements, selecting technologies, conducting demonstrations, and evaluations.
• Sustain advisory connections with client stakeholders and cultivate working relationships with technology partners.
• Engage in account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, proposal management, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses.
• Commit to ongoing technical, security-specific, and professional growth.
• BS/BA or equivalent and/or relevant work experience.
• At least five (5) years in an information security role with a focus on Threat Management, ideally as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer.
• Proficiency in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management/Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics/eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and Asset Management.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC, or other pertinent cybersecurity credentials.
• Experience in presenting and advocating technology vision at events.
• Deep understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive measures.
• Strong business and technical insight, with the capability to steer technology-focused discussions.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills for client interactions, including whiteboard sessions and various presentation formats.
• High attention to detail when reviewing statements of work (SOWs), quotes, and client deliverables.
• Broad knowledge of security-related topics with a commitment to continuously expanding expertise across the portfolio.
• Vendor-specific certification(s) primarily focused on the specialty area.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% or as required.
• Capability to obtain a government-sponsored Secret Clearance.
