IT Compliance and Information Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assess the current guidelines and policies of the customer for the creation, operation, and enhancement of the new platform.

• Create a methodology for systematically deriving processes, procedural instructions, and technical requirements.

• Formulate processes and procedural instructions for the operational execution of compliance standards.

• Establish a secure development process in alignment with KRITIS, ISO 27001, and internal policies.

• Identify, outline, and document technical platform requirements, including logging, monitoring, access rights and role concepts, interfaces, and automation.

• Collaborate with policy and guideline owners as well as the project management team to align deliverables.

• Collect and assess feedback, and amend and consolidate drafts based on feedback and pilot experiences.

• Offer subject-matter expertise for implementation across development, operations, and other involved teams.

• Assist in integrating into agile development and DevOps workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Security, Business Administration with an IT emphasis, or a comparable qualification such as several years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector.

• At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following domains: IT Service Management, data protection in an IT context, or information security.

• Proven experience in designing and documenting IT processes, workflows, procedural instructions, or technical platform requirements in complex IT settings.

• Candidates must have been involved in at least two projects where the relevant responsibilities were undertaken.

• Familiarity with the requirements of KRITIS and ISO 27001.

• Proficient in written and spoken German, at least at the C1 level.
