Senior SDE – Full Stack, Frontend Heavy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create dynamic and engaging industry experiences using Vue 3 and TypeScript.

• Develop reusable and configurable UI components tailored for industry-specific objects, fields, and workflows.

• Spearhead the technical design of frontend-intensive features, converting product and design ideas into high-quality user interfaces.

• Assess frontend and full-stack architectural trade-offs considering UX, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Take ownership of frontend performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile web platforms.

• Construct and enhance APIs with Node.js/NestJS, utilizing Firestore, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis as data layers.

• Manage real-time and asynchronous UI states, including live updates, optimistic updates, background job statuses, and conflict resolution.

• Collaborate with core platform and application teams to enhance and share components and design system patterns.

• Oversee the complete development lifecycle for major features: technical design, building, testing, deployment, measurement, and maintenance.

• Provide mentorship to engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical advice.

• Partner closely with product, design, domain experts, and core platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend architecture and complex web applications.

• Extensive knowledge in Vue (preferably Vue 3) or a similar modern framework.

• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in developing complex interactive UIs, such as drag-and-drop, canvas or SVG rendering, calendars and timelines, or data-rich dashboards.

• Strong grasp of state management, component architecture, and frontend performance enhancement.

• Solid backend abilities, including API design, data modeling, and Node.js; familiarity with NestJS is advantageous.

• Experience dealing with real-time data and asynchronous workflows.

• Keen attention to UX, accessibility, and detail.

• Willingness to utilize AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.

• Eagerness to learn from non-technical domain experts and explore various industries.

• Familiarity with canvas libraries such as Konva, Fabric.js, or PixiJS is an asset.

• Background in building design systems or shared component libraries is beneficial.

• Experience with metadata-driven or schema-driven UI is a plus.

• Background in vertical SaaS or industry-specific products is an advantage.

• Knowledge of GCP services like Cloud Functions and Pub/Sub is a plus.

• Experience with frontend testing, encompassing unit, component, and end-to-end testing, is a plus.
