Senior Scrum Master – Java, OSS, BSS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Support multiple agile software development teams utilizing Java, integrated within a complex BSS and legacy application framework in the Telecom industry.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and assist in the identification and resolution of impediments (system access, infrastructure, release blockers, test environments, and cross-team dependencies).

• Promote continuous improvement and ensure delivery risk transparency while working in an external consulting role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise software development settings.

• Direct experience collaborating with Java development teams.

• Background in OSS/Telecom or other intricate enterprise environments.

• Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with practical experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.

• Proven ability to identify, monitor, and resolve technical and organizational impediments, including system access challenges, infrastructure issues, release/deployment hurdles, test environment complications, and dependencies across teams or vendors.

• Exceptional communication, coordination, and facilitation skills within distributed and cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and DevOps environments.

• Capability to provide insights on coordinating cross-team dependencies and managing delivery risks.

• Proficiency in English is essential for daily interactions with the German client team.

• Residing in Portugal and available for fully remote work.
