Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Scrum Master, ensuring the proper application of Scrum principles, values, and agile methodologies;

• Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness;

• Eliminate obstacles that could hinder the team's productivity and delivery flow;

• Assist the Product Owner with effective backlog management, including refinement, prioritization, and organization techniques for work items;

• Conduct Planning Poker sessions and aid the team in estimating story efforts;

• Utilize Azure DevOps for managing work items, tracking sprints, and organizing workflows;

• Monitor and enhance workflow using Kanban practices and visual management;

• Create and oversee team performance reports, analyzing metrics such as velocity, lead time, throughput, and delivery progress;

• Prepare project progress reports to ensure transparency for business areas and leadership;

• Foster continuous improvement in work processes and the agile maturity of teams;

• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Master;

• In-depth knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and agile practices;

• Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and leading Scrum rituals;

• Proven ability to remove impediments and facilitate agile teams;

• Proficient in using Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprints, and delivery tracking;

• Experience with agile metrics and team performance reporting;

• Familiarity with refinement, prioritization, and estimation techniques (Planning Poker);

• Excellent communication skills, a facilitative mindset, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders;

• A collaborative profile with a focus on team facilitation;

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively;

• A mindset oriented towards continuous improvement and operational efficiency;

• Capability to engage teams and foster an agile culture within the organization;

• Experience in projects related to infrastructure, facilities, or engineering;

• Background in hospital or healthcare environments;

• Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalents);

• Familiarity with agile management tools and tracking delivery indicators.
