Agile Delivery Lead – Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate agile delivery for one or more teams supporting a significant federal enterprise cloud platform.

• Assist teams in planning, executing, and continuously enhancing their processes within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.

• Eliminate obstacles, coordinate between teams, and ensure that delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and quality commitments.

• Lead agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Coach teams on agile methodologies and SAFe practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

• Identify and address impediments while shielding teams from disruptions.

• Monitor and report on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and program leadership to ensure alignment of priorities.

• Assist in PI planning and align team execution with program cadence.

• Foster predictable, high-quality delivery and maintain team health.

• Proactively identify risks and support mitigation efforts with program leadership.

• Communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversee hiring, performance management, timecard reviews, PTO management, and team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of education.

• At least 3 years of experience in facilitating agile delivery for technology teams, particularly in a SAFe environment.

• Proficiency in agile project management tools.

• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Public Trust/suitability determination.

• Prior experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs is preferred.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or an equivalent agile certification is required.

• Experience in coordinating efforts across multiple teams.
