This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Serve as a servant-leader and Agile coach, guiding two cross-functional teams in the implementation of Agile principles tailored to the organization’s environment.
• Concentrate on developing high-performing, self-managed teams by promoting ownership, collaboration, accountability, and a culture of ongoing improvement.
• Establish a psychologically safe atmosphere where team members feel encouraged to voice their opinions, take initiative, and learn from obstacles.
• Facilitate essential Agile ceremonies (such as daily stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, and refinement sessions), ensuring they are efficient, time-constrained, and focused on delivering value.
• Guarantee that discussions, decisions, and action items are documented and followed through to completion.
• Guide teams in delivering valuable increments by key milestones, with particular emphasis on release schedules and stakeholder expectations.
• Assist the team in realistic planning, estimation, and forecasting, enabling predictable and sustainable delivery.
• Proactively identify and eliminate impediments, ensuring they are monitored to resolution and not left unresolved or unclear.
• Safeguard the team from uncontrolled scope creep, maintaining focus on primary objectives.
• Encourage strong collaboration between Product Management, Architecture, Engineering leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of goals and priorities.
• Coordinate with other teams, engage in cross-team synchronization, and promote system-level alignment, ensuring that cross-team dependencies are visible, actively managed, and resolved.
• Foster clarity in situations of ambiguity by facilitating alignment and ensuring that teams converge on a clear path forward.
• Act as a communication and cultural link across global teams, enabling seamless collaboration across regions, time zones, and diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Contribute to the wider adoption of Agile practices by coaching individuals and teams, fostering an Agile mindset throughout the organization.
• Over 5 years of experience in IT.
• More than 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
• Experience in building teams and facilitating their evolution to a performing state.
• Fluent in English.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Highest level of education, preferably in a technical field.
