Senior SAP/ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Developing and enhancing innovative software solutions for the banking sector, utilizing ABAP and various SAP technologies.

• Contributing to a premier product suite for the banking industry by creating cutting-edge features based on contemporary capabilities (e.g., Virtual Accounts).

• Converting business needs into advanced software designs and modern architectures.

• Producing high-quality standard software through an agile methodology, in close collaboration with our product team and international banking clients.

• Guaranteeing superior product quality via comprehensive testing and quality assurance.

• Assisting customers in software implementation by providing exceptional, customer-focused services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on ABAP/SAP development.

• Demonstrated technical expertise in relevant technologies (such as OData/REST, CDS/HANA, Restful Application Programming, HANA DB).

• Ability to understand customer needs and convert them into appropriate software designs and architectures.

• A strong interest in banking processes and products.

• Previous experience in agile environments and methodologies.

• An entrepreneurial mindset, a dedication to continuous learning, and a service-oriented work approach.

• Outstanding communication skills in both written and spoken English.

• Nice to have:

• Familiarity with business processes and products in transactional banking, payments/cards, or regulatory reporting.

• Knowledge of SAP banking products (such as Deposits Management, Payment Engine, Banking Services, Transactional Banking).

• Additional qualifications or strengths, such as full-stack experience with HTML 5, SAP UI5 & FIORI Application enablement/design, strong QA/test automation skills, SAP code shipping methodologies, or similar.

• A degree in computer science, information technology, (software) engineering, or a related field.
