Senior SAP SD Consultant, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD solutions that meet business needs and adhere to SAP best practices.

• Organize and facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, blueprint sessions, and business process design workshops with essential stakeholders.

• Evaluate client processes and convert business requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions.

• Design and set up core SAP SD processes.

• Draft functional specifications and work alongside development teams on enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and custom developments.

• Assist with unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and resolving defects.

• Offer expertise in SAP Fiori applications to ensure efficient and user-friendly SD operations.

• Work collaboratively with business users, key users, architects, developers, project managers, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct user training, knowledge-transfer sessions, and create comprehensive documentation.

• Guide junior consultants and provide functional support to project team members.

• Deliver hypercare and go-live support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Strong background in the SAP SD module.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Skilled in SAP Fiori applications.

• Proven experience in leading and coordinating design workshops.

• Familiarity with fit-to-standard implementations and standardized SAP S/4HANA solutions.

• Knowledge of SAP integration with other SAP modules.

• Advanced understanding of Available-to-Promise (ATP).

• Capability to navigate complex system landscapes and make informed decisions regarding standardization versus customization.

• Experience in collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders.

• Strong skills in SAP SD customizing.

• Comprehension of SD/LE processes and SAP Best Practices.

• Experience in large-scale ERP transformation projects.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
