Senior SAP SD Consultant, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD solutions that align with business needs and adhere to SAP best practices.

• Conduct and facilitate workshops for fit-to-standard analysis, blueprint sessions, and business process design.

• Assess client processes and convert business requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions.

• Design and configure essential SAP SD processes.

• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with development teams on enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and custom developments.

• Assist in unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.

• Offer expertise in SAP Fiori applications to ensure efficient and user-friendly SD operations.

• Work closely with business users, key users, architects, developers, project managers, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide user training, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and create comprehensive documentation.

• Mentor junior consultants and offer functional guidance to team members on the project.

• Deliver hypercare and support during go-live phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Strong background in the SAP SD module.

• Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Skilled in utilizing SAP Fiori applications.

• Proven experience leading and coordinating design workshops.

• Familiarity with fit-to-standard implementations and standardized SAP S/4HANA solutions.

• Knowledge of SAP integration with other SAP modules.

• Advanced understanding of Available-to-Promise (ATP) concepts.

• Capability to navigate complex system landscapes and make informed decisions regarding standardization versus customization.

• Experience in collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders.

• Strong customizing skills in SAP SD.

• Knowledge of SD/LE processes and SAP Best Practices.

• Involvement in large-scale ERP transformation projects.
