Senior SAP S4 Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discussions with a variety of stakeholders to analyze the transformation of existing processes and legacy systems to align with industry best practices, technology, and systems, with a focus on SAP Production Planning, Materials Management, and additional modules.

• Lead and execute Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/Fit-to-Standard Analysis to comprehend the current and future states, identifying essential functionalities and process discrepancies.

• Propose potential technology and process solutions to bridge identified gaps.

• Assist in user acceptance testing, cutover activities, data migration, and provide support after the Go-Live phase.

• Configure and customize the S4 HANA system, ensuring integration with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Master Data Management (MDM), and sourcing systems such as ARIBA.

• Apply knowledge of Automotive Variant Configuration and MRP strategies.

• Integrate Engineering Change Management (ECM) and Variant Configuration within Production Planning.

• Manage demand flow from upstream systems to enhance MRP and capacity utilization.

• Collaborate closely with management to prioritize business objectives and information requirements.

• Stay abreast of SAP trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to foster continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Six years of progressive experience post-baccalaureate in the job offered or a related field.

• Six years of experience with SAP Functional Modules including Production Planning, Materials Planning, Materials Management, or Logistics.

• Six years of experience configuring the SAP S4 HANA system.

• Six years of experience implementing end-to-end SAP solutions.

• Six years of experience in exploring, designing, and testing system integration UAT, along with post Go-Live support.

• Six years of experience in implementing S/4 HANA or Fiori.

• Three years of experience integrating with PLM and MES third-party tools.

• Three years of experience analyzing demand sales orders, forecasts, production plans, or sequencing.

• Three years of experience in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.
