This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Work collaboratively with business and digital team members, as well as cross-functional teams, to comprehend business requirements and offer guidance on the effective use of the ERP system.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4HANA, improving our workstream processes in line with the desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development of new and innovative solutions that support digital and business strategies, along with common design aspirations.
• Aid in evaluating options for bolt-on applications and provide recommendations based on functional requirements, the desired RTX operating model, and industry best practices.
• Support the data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing procedures.
• Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows, and data policies.
• Produce functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations, and workflows that fall within the scope of the workstream as part of the program.
• Provide sustainment support by assisting end-users with issues related to SAP treasury functionality, including BAM support for the technical implementation of new bank accounts, ensuring bank connectivity, proper bank file formats, and services are operational.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve issues related to bank payment file processing to enhance operational efficiency.
• Offer advanced payment management support during the transition from custom treasury applications to standard S4 functionality.
• Monitor systems—responsible for managing inbound and outbound integrations and addressing any failures that may occur.
• Generally requires a University Degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or in the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient hands-on experience with SAP systems, including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities, particularly in the areas of FI-GL, FI-BL, FI-AA, Reporting and Profit Center Accounting, Trading Platform Integration, and Market Rates Management functionality.
• Experience in supporting SAP integrations for Treasury Operations, such as Treasury applications including SWIFT, Finastra, FXall, CoProcess, Reuters, and other custom treasury applications.
• Background in supporting finance processes that encompass, but are not limited to: Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, and Project Accounting.
